The site does not collect personal data directly. This policy also describes the practices of the third-party platforms we link to.

The short version (TL;DR)

This website (misfitcaucus.com) does not set tracking cookies, run analytics scripts, or collect any personal information from visitors directly.
The site is statically hosted by Netlify. Netlify logs basic visit metadata (IP address, request path, user-agent) for security and operational purposes; they do not share this with us in identifiable form.
Subscribing to the newsletter takes you to a third-party platform (Substack), whose privacy policy governs that data: substack.com/privacy.
Links to social platforms (Bluesky, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube) take you to those platforms, governed by their own privacy policies.
This site loads fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com). Google may log the request including your IP address; see Google's privacy policy.
If you email any of our addresses (hello@, press@, legal@, compliance@, corrections@), we keep that email and any reply thread for our records.

Changes to this policy

If we add direct email collection (an embedded signup form), analytics, or any other data-collecting feature, we will:

Update this page and update the version number;
Note the change in the "Last updated" date above;
Where required by law (GDPR/CCPA opt-in regions), present the change to existing subscribers.
